The Lakes Barceló Golf Course

The Club

The Lakes Barceló Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course located within the Barceló Bávaro resort in Punta Cana. Originally opened in 1991, the course was redesigned by renowned golf course architect P.B. Dye in 2010. It winds through a lush mangrove forest and features 25 inland lakes and 122 strategically placed bunkers, creating a challenging yet visually spectacular layout. Native vegetation and natural surroundings are incorporated throughout the course, providing a distinctive tropical golf experience. 

With a maximum length of 6,655 yards and five sets of tees, The Lakes offers an enjoyable challenge for golfers of different skill levels. Its combination of water, mangroves, bunkers and carefully maintained fairways and greens makes it one of the established golf destinations in the Bávaro–Punta Cana area.
