The Club
Playa Dorada Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Sr. and located within the Playa Dorada resort in Puerto Plata. Created in 1979, the course stretches approximately 7,000 yards and features five holes with ocean views.
The layout combines wide fairways, generous greens, strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, surrounded by tropical vegetation and the natural landscape of Puerto Plata. Its location, close to the Atlantic Ocean and approximately 15 minutes from Gregorio Luperón International Airport, makes it particularly attractive for golfers staying or investing on the North Coast.
The course is part of the established Playa Dorada resort community, where golf, beaches, hotels, restaurants and residential properties come together in one destination. The surrounding development includes condominium communities such as Riviera Azul, San Marino and Green One Playa Dorada.
